  • Candice Feinberg, PsyD

Dr. Candice Feinberg, a licensed clinical psychologist, is an industry leader in developing innovative, evidence-based therapeutic programs for clients suffering from mental health and addiction issues. She combines a rare set of talents as an administrator, consultant, teacher and psychologist.

Dr. Feinberg, a highly respected authority in the field of mental health and addiction issues, has appeared on national television, written articles published in Psychology Today, and spoken at conferences across the country. She is a member of Young Presidents’ Organization. Dr. Feinberg was most recently Executive Director at Avalon Malibu, a premier treatment company with multiple residential and IOP facilities in Malibu California. Prior to that, she was Clinical Director of Newport Academy, an adolescent residential treatment facility that also offers intensive outpatient and day school programs, and Program Director for The Center for Discovery. She first began to work with adolescents in 2007 as a therapist for the County of Orange, Juvenile Drug Court. Prior to that she spent three years in college counseling centers conducting therapy and testing for learning disabilities.

Inspired by Dr. Feinberg’s years of experience working with teenagers and their families, her book No Parent Left Behind provides practical advice and much-needed guidance based on the principle of parenting out of love rather than fear. The real-world examples and proven approaches included in this invaluable volume will enable you to better understand your individual situation and tackle your child’s problematic behaviors.

  • Ryan Madigan, PsyD

Dr. Ryan Madigan founded the Boston Child Study Center - Los Angeles in 2013 with the mission to push the mental health field to better understand and treat mental illness by changing antiquated treatment models, unethical reimbursement practices, and social and cultural inequities in the mental health field. Dr. Madigan has taught at the undergraduate, graduate, and post-doctoral levels at Wellesley College, Rutgers University, Boston University, McLean Hospital and Harvard Medical School. As an attending clinician at McLean Hospital, Dr. Madigan co-founded the DBT trauma and exposure program specializing in suicide, non-suicidal self-injury, trauma, personality disorders, and psychosis.
